The NFL season is nearing its end, and the playoff picture is getting clearer. But there are still some crucial games left to determine the fate of several teams. Who will come out on top in Week 16? Mike Florio and Chris Simms of ProFootballTalk have made their picks for every game, and they don’t always agree. Here are some of the highlights:
- Dolphins vs. Broncos: Both teams are fighting for a wild card spot in the AFC, and this game could be a tiebreaker. Florio and Simms both like the Dolphins to win, but Simms thinks they will do it by a bigger margin. Florio: Dolphins, 27-24. Simms: Dolphins, 31-24.
- Chiefs vs. Patriots: The Chiefs are still in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, while the Patriots are trying to avoid missing the playoffs for the first time since 2008. Florio and Simms both think the Chiefs will bounce back from their loss to the Bills and beat the Patriots, but Florio expects a closer game. Florio: Chiefs, 24-20. Simms: Chiefs, 21-16.
- Cowboys vs. Bills: This is a potential Super Bowl preview, as both teams have clinched their divisions and are among the best in the league. Florio and Simms disagree on this one, as Florio likes the Bills to win at home, while Simms thinks the Cowboys will pull off an upset. Florio: Bills, 27-24. Simms: Cowboys, 27-24.
- Ravens vs. Jaguars: The Jaguars have a chance to secure the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft with a loss, while the Ravens need a win to stay alive in the AFC North race. Florio and Simms also disagree on this one, as Florio thinks the Jaguars will shock the Ravens, while Simms thinks the Ravens will dominate. Florio: Jaguars, 27-24. Simms: Ravens, 31-24.
- Eagles vs. Seahawks: The Eagles are tied with the Cowboys for the NFC East lead, while the Seahawks are hoping to sneak into the playoffs as a wild card. Florio and Simms both think the Eagles will win this one, as they have been playing better lately and have the home-field advantage. Florio: Eagles, 28-21. Simms: Eagles, 24-21.
